Well friends, what a strange and surreal time right now. The entire world is sharing an experience and a very hard one at that. There is a lot of uncertainty on what to do right now and what the blooming ‘eck we are meant to do next, but know this, I am on your team.

With the ever changing guidelines and restrictions coming in to play, it has become vital for me to get a plan in place for those of you who are having to face the realities of rescheduling your day. First off, I am so sorry that this is something that you are even having to consider, but rest-assured I am invested in you and your wedding, and am here to help support you through this craziness.

For many of you, I am sure you spent time over a beer or two looking for the perfect venue and going through the various suppliers who could help you bring your day to life. From the florist who shares your colourful vision, to the DJ you bonded with over your love of UK Garage music. They all mattered then, and am sure still matter now in making your wedding day yours. So, for those forced to reschedule your wedding day, there is worth in syncing up your fave suppliers so we can all work together in helping you find a suitable new date to simply transfer over our services and crack on as planned.

First step, check in with your venue to get a some possible dates. Next, get us all in on an email; link us up on a Doodle calendar, whatever your preferred method, but do consider keeping us in on the conversation before locking anything in.

I have put a calendar link at the bottom of this page, which includes my booked dates for 2020 and 2021. You will be able to see my availability if you wanted to sound out some new dates and check my availability. I have also noted below, the process I will put in place for moving your postponed wedding to a new, agreed date.

Please do still get in touch if you’re interested in booking a date labeled as ‘pending’ in the calendar - some people may be waiting to confirm between a couple of dates in their efforts to sync up suppliers. I will be updating this calendar as and when requests come in.

I promise to do everything I can to accommodate all of my couples having to postpone their date. If, however, you have already set a new date and I am not available, don’t fear, I have a plan for you too on how I can still be creatively involved.

Together with a bunch of super talented photographers, we have worked up a system that ensures our couples still get a blooming talented, top notch, legendary photographer to capture their memories. It ensures they do not run the risk of losing deposits/having to pay any additional fees or book a shitty photographer. Lastly, it also allows them to still support their original chosen photographer in keeping their small business up and running in such unprecedented times.

Even though I might not be there in person on the day, I will still work with you right up to the date itself. From the pre-planning, gathering of key info and timings, to working with you on how to make the most of the photography in line with your schedule. On the day one of my trusted and talented associate photographers will be there to capture all the moments and portraits, taking the same approach as I would have done. Relaxed, candid and fun.

I will set up a Skype for you to meet the associate photographer before the wedding day. They will capture all the beautiful goodness and hand the raw files over to me for editing in the style that you love and I'll deliver the rest of your service as agreed. Business as usual, has become so very unusual right now, we are all dealing with this in real-time and I thank you in advance for your support. It means the world, truly.

I hope this helps to provide some reassurance in the midst of all this uncertainty. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or would simply like to chat over everything. You will get married, and it will be just as epic as ever, I promise.

Now, go get a beer, you deserve it!

Signing off with a song for now, hope to see you very soon.

Big love, Sara.

To organise/request a postponement or enquire about available dates, click through the calendar and get in touch using the form below.

Feel free to request a few options and don’t hesitate to include dates which already have ‘pending booking’ on them - ‘pending’ does not mean the date is unavailable, just that someone else is also considering it at this time.

POSTPONEMENT PROCESS:

  • Please fill in a new contract for your new date, this will replace your existing booking with me.

  • Your initial payment from your current booking will carry across to the new booking with no penalties, so you're not out-of-pocket at all. If your balance for your original date is still outstanding, it would really help if you could honour that original date by paying 50% of your balance due. I am aware that times are hard for us all right now, but for those that are financially able and are willing to support a small business like mine through this time, it would be a huge help on cash flow to get through this blip.

  • Your remaining balance will be due a month before the new date.
